A proper heavy hitter from the early days of quartz watches. The 38QR line was the first ever mass produced series of quartz timepieces in the world. These are not comparable to your regular modern battery watch. The 3862 movement is a high quality powerhouse of reliability and accuracy.

At launch, you'd have to spend more money for this one than for a Grand Seiko. The average Japanese worker had to pay more than one month's paycheck to get their hands on one. Now, you can get it at a fantastic price for an important piece of watchmaking history.

Condition:

The watch is in very good condition. There are some small marks and hairlines on the case, but not bigger scratches or dents. The crystal has been replaced and is pristine. Take a close look at the pictures as these are meant to convey the condition of the watch as precisely as possible.
